Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) Sessions
What Is EFT?
EFT is a simple tapping procedure that gently realigns the body's energy system in relation to specific emotional or physical issues. It is based on the premise that unresolved emotional issues are caused by disruptions in the body's subtle energies. These disruptions inhibit our natural ability to heal, leaving us open to nagging fears, chronic pain, and illness. By combining this emotional element with the ancient principles of acupuncture, EFT addresses the causes of these energy disruptions, producing impressive results. The process addresses the deep underlying causes of unhappiness or disease instead of the symptoms.
Antera is a trained intuitive healer, and leads these sessions to get to the core issues and release the patterns, much more effectively than most people can do for themselves, even if they know how to use the method.
EFT, developed by Gary Craig, began as an effective remedy for phobias, addictions, and war trauma. He worked with Vietnam vets, smokers, and people with phobias and PTSD, and got amazing results in a short time, all without medication. Before long, EFT was providing relief for migraine headaches, sexual abuse trauma, and a wide assortment of everyday ailments. It has now grown into a revolutionary healing aid, used by traditional therapists, medical professionals, and alternative healers on everything from weight loss to life-threatening illnesses.
How Does It Work?
Emotional and physical traumas disrupt the energy meridians that run through the body. The physical changes we feel from those disruptions, such as tension, nausea, anger, or anxiety, become attached to the memory of that experience and affect the way we see the world. Properly applied, EFT quickly realigns the energy meridians with respect to negative memories, disconnects the emotional or physical discomfort that we attached to them, and quite often removes the resulting symptoms. This realignment of the energy system is done by tapping with fingertips on certain meridian points while focusing on the trauma or issue.
Sessions vary in length from 1/2 to 1.5 hours, depending on the complexity of the issue.
