THE SCIO AND ENERGY MEDICINE (continued) Types of Stress There are many kinds of stressors, many of them unrecognized by most people: 1. Psychological or emotional. This is what most people think of when asked about stress in their lives. 2. Environmental. There are many toxins in our environment that stress our bodes: second hand smoke, chemicals, cleaning products, cosmetics, air pollution, industrial and construction solvents, aluminum, mercury from amalgam fillings, asbestos, insecticides. 3. Electromagnetic. Invisible pollution, such as radiation, sun, high voltage power lines, microwaves, cathode ray tubes, cell phones, other electrical devices. 4. Temperature extremes. Being too hot or too cold. 5. Exhaustion. Too much work and too little sleep. 6. Allergies. Many people have food allergies or intolerances they don't know about, and these can cause a wide variety of symptoms. 7. Nutritional deficiencies. The body needs many substances for optimal functioning. 8. Infections. Acute or chronic infections of bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites stress the immune system. 9. Geopathic. Earth has its own meridian system, called ley lines, and some are harmful to humans-especially when they run under a person's bed, where they spend a lot of time. 10. Negative mass thoughtforms. The media and some people promote fear and other feelings or thoughts that are harmful and easy to "catch." 11. Drugs. Over the counter, prescription, or street drugs all stress the body with side effects. 12. Negative entities. There are many entities in the astral realm who feed on negative thoughts or emotions and make them worse than they really are. 13. Miasms. These are inherited ancestral weaknesses.
